Smell of Smoke...?

I just bought a used f-150 and its obvious that someone has smoked in it. I have tried febreeze and it has helped, but I was wondering if there was anything else to try that might get rid of it. It's not terrible, but I'd like for it to go. Thanks.

The best way would be to take it to a detail shop and have the interior shampooed and detailed. Tell them about the smoke odour. They will get it out and the inside will look fantastic when they are done.

Chemical guys say "not a cover up" but then they say "green apple scent" !!
An ozone generator will do the job as I have heard.

Go to pets mart and grab some of the "natures best" or something like that oder eliminator. It doesn't smell, and does a great job getting rid of oders.

My buddy bought a real nice 4x S-10 and it smelled like smoke. He tried everything but to no avail. He ended up removing the interior and steamed cleaned everything (he used the hand held steam cleaner for the headliner. Then he shampooed everything. Let everything dry for a few days before reinstalling. After all that the smell was gone. Pretty extreme but it worked.

You could put some baking soda in the ash tray or a cup and leaving it in the truck for a few days. That worked on an explorer that we bought that reaked of smoke. Depending on how bad the smell is you may have to freshen it up a couple of times. But baking soda is cheap.

Shampoo the whole interior with Folex, and use an extractor. Then go to Walmart and get a spray bottle of Odo-Ban and mist everything with that.
