I've got an 04 screw and my dome light in the front went out by the rearview mirror. It is the push kind. Ford did a nice job making it smooth and without any visible screw heads showing, but it makes it hard to remove it without knowing what kind of clips are under there.

I hate breaking clips and dont just want to start pulling and risk breaking a clip, so anyone have to change a bulb know how easily this come off and where is a good spot to pry on it at?

They pop out. I dunno if you have the rails like my truck, but i pop the sunglass compartment off, and then pull the dome light off from the front. there should be 4 clips that squeeze into 4 slots

 

ok, thanks, I do have the rails just like you. I'll have to give that a try.

 

the clips were a little tight on mine, but a little bit of calculated muscle and they popped right off.
