How to clean smoker's leather?

I just scored some Eddie Bauer Expedition seats and console, all for $150. The driver's seat would rate as a 6/10, passenger seat 8/10. Driver is a smoker, along with the fact there are a couple of small holes on a seam on the driver's side. What should I use to re-condition them, and how should I patch the holes? I'll post some pics later on when I get them home. Thanks, Jumpn

For leather that contaminated you might want to look into a 2 step like Megs has. Use a dedicated leather cleaner with a MF towel to clean them. Then use a leather conditioner to restore the look and feel.

I would not recommend using any megs leather cleaner. I have used it before it doenst preform as well as the cleaner you can get from the dealer. I found a whole article on how to clean leather and i will post the site in a few, dont have the info on my work computer. You use 2 part water to 1 part pin sol (best i rember been a while since i had leather seats). Use a brush kinda like what you use to clean your tires and it will clean them up great. But like I said I will find the site and post it as soon as I can get to my laptop.
