Before I trash something...

What's the proper way to remove the face plate that surrounds the radio on an '07? I know it just pops off, but I don't know if it's best to do so from the top or sides or bottom? Anything to watch out for?

Bottom. Comes off really easy. Just don't pull too hard once you get to the top. The airbag light wire needs to be unhooked.

I pull from the bottom where the ash tray is and the trim piece will seem to bend a bit but eventually it will come out (6 or 8 clips).

don't forget you will need to unhook the cig light and traction buttons if you have them, the climate control plugs and then the airbag light, install is just the opposite.
