Get a fat friend to drive it around for a while. Or time will soften them. Think of it as the seats are supportive, not hard, lol.

Get some good leather conditioner and apply it continually on a regular basis until it softens up.

I bought my 2005 this last November and the leather was pretty hard and a little tough. I applied it once about every two weeks and now its so soft I can almost squeeze the pads and touch my fingers together. It just takes a few times of applying to get it much softer and more tolerable and comfortable.

Regardless of what brand of conditioner you use, make sure you do NOT apply it with a rag or towel or anything. Apply it by hand. I put some of it on the seat and start rubbing it into the seat. Your hands won't soak up the product like the rags will and the product will get in places that it couldn't get with a towel or rag.

It shouldn't take more than maybe 2 or 3 times and it should get considerably softer and more comfortable to sit in. I travel a lot with my truck and don't know what I'd do if I had to deal with the seats the way thy were when I bought it.

*This is all assuming of course you have leather seats. If you don't, then please disregard what I've said.*

Leather condition won't do it....just let them wear.

When I replaced my factory 'leather' I got a good look at it. There is no actual real leather in the seat except for the the very center insert. Everything else is vinyl...EVERYTHING!

Last time I pay for factory leather.
