There are 2 nuts on the front part of the track, not sure but I think they are 15mm. There are 2 more on the rear part of the seats, don't quote me on that just yet though. I'm in the process of changing my front seats in my 2000 HD SCAB to 2002 seats so when I change mine I'll let you know of the size you'll need. As for the console, did you get the mounting brackets? If so, I think you have to cut some of the carpet away, but I can't say that for sure because mine already had a console in it. Best suggestion is to lay everything in place and mark where the brackets would have to be mounted. I think if you pull the carpet up you'll see on the floor marks where there would be drill outs. Hope this helps out somewhat

The seats you're getting, is the console attached to the passenger seat, or is the console by itself? As for getting the carpet out of the way, thats easy. Just pull up on the scuff plates (place where you step to get into truck), and just pull it back from the firewall area. Its not glued down, and if you have your seats out, pulling the carpet back will be very easy.

you will need torx bits for the bolts that hold the frame/tracks of the seats down to the floor pan of the truck. I believe its T-30 and T-35 but i dont remember for sure.

Not sure on the console deal....

Seperate console makes it so much easier. I believe if you pull the carpet back just to the back of the front seats, if memory serves there will be indents in the metal on the floor to where the console would go. I wish I was at the point where I could mount my seats so I could just take a picture, but I'm about a week away from changing my seats. I'll try and help as much as I can.

thinking about it more, it might be T40 and T45. Just get you a whole set of drivers for a 3/8" ratchet and you will be set. Other things on the truck use torx so it will be a worth while investment.....

i got the seats in! it was a T50. took 7 1/2 hours to install, console took kinda long but what took the longest is the power seat harness was diffrent from my 99 seat than the 03 seat. Where it was place is what took the longest trying to un-hook and re-hook them. But it works! And I love the seats!
