I like groits leather care, doesnt leave the leather shiny. I have also used meguires but it seems to discolor the leather for a few days after use.

I use either Meguires or Mothers. I got black leather and the meguires leaves a nice shine but not to much and isn't really slippery either

With all of my detailing customers, I stick strictly to the Tropi-Care leather conditioner. I haven't dealt with any KR vehicles, and I of course wouldn't use it on them, but any other leather this product works great for.

Just a tip though regardless of what conditioner you use. APPLY IT WITH YOUR HANDS AND FINGERS. I can't stress that enough. This will make a BIG difference as opposed to doing it with a towel or rag. Your hands and fingers won't soak the product up like the towel will so you will find yourself using a lot less product, you can work the product into areas better that a towel may not be able to, and with the other two benefits, this will make your leather softer and last longer too.

Most of the products out there are going to accomplish the same thing, so as long as they are reputable and good, you should be fine. Just apply it with your hands and do it about once a week until the leather doesn't immediately suck it up and get dry again. It took me about 4 applications on my truck that I bought a month or so ago for this to happen.

Check the detailing section and you will get some pretty experienced answers.

I have used Meguiars APC+ diluted 10:1 to clean and followed with Lexol to condition and it worked great on my wifes' tan Eddie Bauer leather. For the grains I used a brush (Not too firm)

Weazel - if you want to try some give me a shout and grab an empty spray bottle. I will hook you up to give it a try.

Well I have been a member of Autopia.org (car detailing site) for some time now and I am surprised this info hasn't mad its way over here, a lot of people use Woolite, Yes, like for your laundry to clean leather!
Read more here:
http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-det...tide-free.html

This just cleans it, then apply a good protectant like Aerospace 303

I use Lexoral for cleaning and Connolly Hyde Cream for the conditioner (it comes from england and is sold under it's own label as well as Harley davidson, Rolls Royce and maserati).

a word of caution with regard to cream type conditioners, apply very thin, allow to dry and wipe down all areas with a damp cloth to remove any excess- also minimize conditioner contact with upholstry threads!!!!!! While the cream itself does not hurt the threads because excess conditioner is bound to exist with the threads, dirt will build up on the threads causing pre-mature destruction (former leather worker- I know)
