I have an '07 XLT, but I also had an '05 XLT that had dashboard cupholders.
i would think the center "storage" area below the stereo should pop out and can easily be replaced with the cupholders and smaller storage area like the '05 had.

Can anybody confirm this? Is it just held in with clips and easily removed?

Is that the console with floor shifter?

If so - no. It's got a console with two forward cup holders and column shift.

 

If I could put a cupholder there, I'd probably do that. The useless void there currently is a joke.
