Tips for fiberglass?

So I have never fiberglassed car parts before or actually anything that needed to be painted. After I get it sanded I heard I was supposed to use some stuff to fill the pinholes. Any suggestions on what would be the best for that? Also is there a certain paint I should use or should I just stick with dupli color? BTW i'm fiberglassing my dash in my 98 f150 starting with the drivers side so if there is anything I need to do to keep it from fading and cracking in the sun?

I may not be much help, but I painted a fiberglass boat that I had done some repairs on. After doing the fiberglass repair, a body shop recommended PPG paint and a self levelling primer that went on thick to fill the pinholes. Once sanded, the pinholes were gone. Ask a reputable body shop in your area
