I have an '03 Lariat with the leather captain's chairs. They have the adjustable lumbar support which is controlled with a **** on the lower side of the seat. There's a really annoying creaking going on inside the seat when it's supporting the weight of my back. Whenever I move the slightest bit it creaks this annoying noise and I can feel it too, it sounds spring-like. I just can't stand it anymore and I don't know how to fix it.

 

pull off the seat cover, and grease the SOB. do a search, the exact procedure on cover removal has been posted.
