I have an '07 SuperCrew F150 and am looking to replace the click-on map lights with LEDs. I can't figure out how to get to the bulbs!

Any help out there?

 

I dont know if the screw's are different from the Scab's bt mine you jst grab on the sides and pull down.

 

x2 ^. You might think your going to break something but just pull evenly and carefully and it will come off.

 

yeah, I swore I was going to...but just pull evenly and carefully and it will come down. Then ya just twist the clip the bulb is attached to, pull the bulb and replace with the led bulb and do the exact same thing just in reverse.

 

You jsut pull down on the entire center console?

I cannot get to the bulbs, for clarification.

 

Yeah the entire console, once the pins release it will all come down (careful not to hit yourself in the head. You can search Putco (who makes led replacements) on youtube, and they have vids showing it for reference.

 

slip your fingers underneath the rear of the console, and pull down at an angle and it will unclip from the roof, a total of 4 hold it up there. there will be 1 electrical connector to unhook and its free from the roof, the bulbs are inside the twist locks, just twist them counter clockwise and pull em out. 194 bulbs are whats in there.
