Center Console Storage

So, I was able to pick up a center console from one of the members here to replace the center jump seat. It was a great upgrade! I love the extra storage. The only thing that I didn't like was that everything dropped to the bottom of the console and slid around. My last truck was a 2003 Tundra and I remembered I still had the little divider box that snapped into the bottom of that console and was thinking that I could at least drop it in the bottom of this console to keep the small stuff from sliding around. I was stoked to see that it actually fit across the top of the console perfectly! The tab fits in one of the coin holders and keeps it from sliding around while you are driving, but you can still slide it up or back to reach under it. The lid still closes with no issues. Here is a pic. I know they came in 2003 Tundras and Sequoias, but do not know of other years.

Try to get us a part number, that looks good enough I may go to the local toyo dealer and try to pick one up.

Good mod!

Fixed the picture link. I don't have a part number, but it is # 8 on this diagram. A little pricey though.

Has anyone seen or used one of the "portable" console units that sits on and is strapped to the folded down center seat? I'd like some center storage but also like to take it out and use the seat ever so often.

I had one in my old nissan. It worked just fine. Heck, my gf used to sit on it when 3 of us packed in.
