I know this is an old topic, but, I need help.
Got the new shifter, removed the old one without any issues, but, I cannot get the new shifter bottom to work. I know the pin must be misaligned. Also, the spring some how is all tweaked now.
Where can I find a replacement?
I am trying to straighten it out, but, I do not believe it is going to be straight.

Help. Got to drive to work tomorrow.

They key was in and it the neutral position. I am not sure what you mean by plugged in.
Can you clarify?

another option is a mark LT shifter, its a direct replacement and looks alot nicer. the directions sam1947 posted are the same ones i used but i believe the 05 and 04 trucks are a little different

You wouldn't happen to know where to order a replacement for the small spring in the shifter would you?
