Cleaning our cloth seats

Whats the best option for cleaning the grey cloth seats in our trucks? I have dirt stains and other stains(god only knows what). Is there anything I can use?

the best i can say is when you clean with a product instead of spot cleaning clean the entire section.its a pain in the butt.i hate my light gray seats.i tried to use plastic seat covers from work as much as possible.so far i have no sure fire way to clean.i think leather is in my future.

The best way I've found to clean seats is to pull them (usually the carpet to) and pressure wash them with water until the water flows clean. Then I spray them with straight Simple Green and scrub with a nylon brissol brush. Then pressure was them one last time to rinse. If it's warm out, they will dry completely within a couple of days. If they are damp at all when you install them, leave the window cracked for a few days when parking. I've done lots of vile seats and carpet this way and am always impressed by the results.

Fabreeze Auto, mist it on and wipe off with a clean durable shop towel paper towel. It works good, I don't know on really bad stuff but made the headliner brand new from when I use to smoke. It doesn't do too hot on seatbelts but for that you'd need more specific stuff.

I've got a small/mini steam cleaner that i always use. just did my entire truck yesterday, the seats and carpet look brand new. I had quite a few dirt stains on the back seat from my dog and they all washed out no problem.

Where did you get the small mini steam cleaner at. And how much do they run. Somebody else told me that they had found it to work good

Yep, me too. For spots, I use Armorall Plastic and Interior Swipes.

I also use a mini steam cleaner with vacuum follow up. Does a great job...just take your time.

I use our full-size shampoo/steamer machine. It has a handheld furniture attachment that runs off the main unit and it works wonders on car interiors.
