Cup Holders
All,
This might sound stupid but it comes in real handy when you need it,..the "push in" cup holder that pops out when you push on it. Well,..my kids decided to push it in a little too far and broke it. I had to take the cup hodler out by depressing the two tabs at the top back behind the cup holder. Once you get it out you'll see a wtaped up wire for a courtsey light. Swist that to remove. Okay,.after the wire is loose you should be able to get the enitre unit out. I saw that one of the rails were cracked and the large "spring clip" came off on the back side of the CH. I took some strong adhesive and made the repairs, gluing the rail back and the spring clip to the back of the CH. It now works as it did when my truck lfet the Ford plant. I can only imagine what the Ford repair shop would hace charged me to do that job. I bet I saved at least $50.00 Anyway, I hope this helps out with anyone else with the same problem.

my cup holder was the same way when i bought my truck. i took mine out and found 2 fat, short (not unlike myself) screws, and screwed that spring back on.
works like a charm now. now i just need about 14 more cup holders strategicly placed, so i dont have to move to reach anything
