help mounting cb radio

i have a 2000 f150 with the bench seats (no center console) and am trying to install a cb radio, i can't find anywhere to mount the radio in a nice spot. was looking for some sort of "no drill" install mount like they make for laptop desks. wanted something to mount against front middle seat on bottom and maybe hook into seat frame somehow. any one ever see anything like this?? any other sugestions??

not to much to work with for mounting options with bench trim.

thanks kevin

If you have an overhead console, have you thought about putting it up there ?

I made a mount for mine out of wood that went under the seat on the hump. The radio was upright (***** up), and the bottom was toward the seat. I made it so it would "wedge" itself in place. I never had any problems with it there. I even put my external speaker on it. I'll take a pic of it, and I'll send it to you with the dimensions. Watch your email. I have taken it out of my F-150 to sell my truck. Now, I'm in the same dilemma with my F-350 as to where to put it....

Also, I put my antennas in the stake pockets, and I drilled holes in the stake pocket covers so I could still use them. That is kindof a pain to do, but I thought it looked nice.

If you go to a marine supply place ( west marine, boatersworld, bass pro ) you can get a swivel mount for mounting a GPS or fishfinder. They work great and you can mount them anywhere you want to, just fab up a plate or use the stock cb bracket and bolt the two together.
