New Interior Bulb...How??

Hey all,
I have an 04 Scab and the interior lights in the front seat do not work. There are two push on-push off lights at the very front of the overhead console. I have tried to get in there to change the bulbs, but i cant seem to get deep enough in there to even see the bulbs.
Does anyone know how to remove enough plastic covers on that over head unit to get at the interior lights in the front seat??
Thanks
Scooter

Thanks a millions Sleestak! Thats just what i was looking for. So the piece with the bulbs in it just pulls straight down, and there is no prying or unscrewing required?
Thanks again!

Yours may not have those handle looking things. My Scab did not, but just grab and pull down HARD.

Thanks guys, i got it off and neither of the bulbs have continuity between the terminals. I NEVER would have pulled that hard if i didnt know that it was supposed to just pop off.
Thanks again !

just a rookie...

I want to replace my dome light bulb and I don't want to break the plastic casing. Does anyone have any tricks on how to get the dome off of the headliner?

Thanks

Just like i mentioned above...you have to pull to beat h*ll. If the guys above didnt tell me that it was supposed to pull off, i wouldn't have been able to get it. I was surprised at how hard you had to pull. There are metal clips that pop into the roof, so just giver, you wont break it.

I got the dome light off. Thanks for the help. My 06 SCrew doesnt have the handle on the map lights. I assume with enough force it will pull from the headliner w/o breaking any clips. Is this correct? Thanks again everyone.
