grey interior paint?
grey interior paint?
hey yall with grey interiors.i am looking for interior paint.i have grey interior but there are some sections on my door panels i want to do.i am looking for the dark grey that peices of the dash are.i have looked all over and cant find anything.i have a stx so my panels are all light grey.anyhelp is appreciated.
So are you looking for dark grey then?
If you can compare the dark grey to Ford's Dark Charcoal, SEM Classic Coat Midnight Black would be your best bet. I tried Colorbond Dark Graphite and it came out a really light grey (makes me wonder what the light grey paint actually looks like!) and Duplicolor's Dark grey paint has a brown tint to it.

no i think dark charcoal is too dark.in the trucks with grey interior there are dash peice that are a darker grey then the light grey in the rest of the interior.i am looking for that color.anyone please guide me in the right direction.this is a project i would rather do on my own as opposed to paying someone to do.
If you are looking for the Warm Steel colour, that is the main color on the FX4 dash piece,or one of the other shades, that is on the main backbone of the dash of the other models. It has to be mixed. Do a search, the colour codes are in here somewhere. For the other pieces in the interior ,glove box, door panels, etc Ford does have these paints in a rattle can, although most Ford parts dept will tell you they do not. http://www.fcsdchemicalsandlubricant...2005-paint.pdf
