I have an xl truck and is it possible to switch the roll down window with power windows and get power door locks and about how much does it cost

I installed my own, took about 10 hours with a lot of cursing. I would recommend buying original ford window units with motors, they are more powerful and all you do is replace 3 bolts on each window. That was easy. Here is your problem. If you have a 4 wheel drive the doors have GEM (Type in PITA!!! white block! for refrence) modules that won't allow you to pass the wiring through. I hooked up all 4 windows (I have a supercrew with suicide rear doors) here is the website I ordered switches from

Basically I mounted the switches (controls all 4 windows) in the little empty space under my lighter. I figure that if anyone wanted a window down they can ask me, plus it looks cleaner. I also plugged the holes where the cranks were with tweeters. Personally I feel that looks MUCH better than those dumb caps.

The switch kit comes with pretty easy to understand schematics and has a good harness.
