cover leather seats??
thinking of putting seat covers over leather captains chairs. Anyone else do this?, what material did you use? I had the wet okole in my 02'(over 60/40 cloth) and they were great but I'm wondering if the leather would "breath" right beneath neoprene seat covers?
any suggestions
thanks

too many times.....
.....I'm leaving work DIRTY or leaving the beach D-I-R-T-Y after surf fishing.
I'll only destroy the leather seats, fast.
On special occasions I'll take off the seat covers but as my only means of transportation I want to protect them somehow. I really didn't want leather seats but they come with the FX4 luxury package. As you guys know with Ford, options come in packages so "want one" you have to take these 3 or 4 others too. No biggy. Won't hurt re-sale down the road.

If you stick with Wet Okole Neoprene seat covers you will be ok, the underside of the covers is completely covered with foam.I had a pair on my 03Lariat for 3 years when I removed the covers the leather looked new.

something to think about is know matter how skin tight the covers are once u get in u are just going to push/pull them up
i was thinkin of putting covers over my leather just because it has some small rips that make it look bad. but puttin covers on leather is just common sense that they will slide around, multiple bodyshops have said this to me also.

those covers that site has look pretty good. thinking about doing that to cover up my ripped leather. are they just asically regular do it yourself slip on covers? it sort of looks it but i cant tell
Yes they are do it your self...But these are custom fit to the type and style of your truck...Extremely tight fit so you don't get the usual slop associated with cheap seat covers. But then again a complete set are about $400.00 so they better fit nice. I have been very happy with the quality and fit. Like I said in an earlier post, I have had them for two years now and they still look great..
Good Luck
