How To Remove Window Crank Handle

2001 F150 without power windows, I would like to know how to remove the window crank handle?

You've gotta buy a special tool from the auto parts store. It's like $6.

I sometimes just use a 45 angle pick to get to the clip that retains the handle onto the crank. Just push in the door panel and take a look between the panel and crank, you'll see either a gold colored or silver colored clip, if its the round end, stick in the 45 and pull it out gently...DONT LOSE IT!!
But there is a special tool u can use as previously stated, I just like using a 45. good luck!

Be carfull not to strip the bolt. I stripped the **** outta it in my old 95' F150 and had to cut the bolt. Just use the right tool and dont use the wrong size allen wrench like me...
