I have the vinyl floors in my STX and I want to add carpet to change things up a bit. I'm looking into the molded carpet that fits to the specific vehicle. Do I have to completly remove the vinyl part or does the carpet just lay over it?

 

Remove the rubber mat flooring because it has backing on it and the new carpet will have its own backing.
