Scratchs on compass lens

Title says it all, I have 2 scratchs in the compas lens on the overhead console.

How can I try to buff them out?

Gauge cluster could also use it, I am assuming it is the same or similar plexane so probably the same method......

I think I'm going to try Mequires Plast X.

It was recomended in another thread to restore my headlights and repair a few scratches in the tail light lenses, said it may or may not work for teh compass and maybe the instrument clusters lens too.....

We'll see, I'm going to go to town on teh truck with the stuff as soon as it quits raining.......

Glad I washed my truck last night Matt, let me know how the Plast-X does on the gauge cluster. I need to get mine with it.

Yea mine needs washed too.. bad!!!
It's so bad that I almost went though the tunnel wash on my way home today even though it was raining.

Am glad that I put on new wipers and rain-x'ed the windshield yesterday though!

I'll let you know how it goes on the cluster.

This will work

Go to a motorcycle dealer and buy a compound made by NOVUS sold to remove scratches from motorcycle windshields. I have used this and it works-----also get a soft wash cloth made for babies and polish the scratch right out
