leather seat scratch

i've got a small scratch in the leather seat in my 06 lariat. it is barely deep enought to remove the color from the surface, and since i've got the light tan leather, it makes it look really bad, as the under lying color is much darker than the surface. i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what to put on the scratch to make it look a little lighter in color. thanks in advance.

You scratched it and your dealership replaced your whole seat... is that right?

BTW, olive oil works well on "real" leather.

We've used it more than once on our La-Z-Boy couches - very fine surface scratches - and, unless you know precisely where to look, they're gone. We rub both vertically and in a circular motion... in that order.

We got this idea from the La-Z-Boy rep we purchased the sofas from.

I've read many times that our seats are anything but the real deal [leather] so I'm not sure how it'll work.

Give it a try on an inconspicuous spot.

Lexol Conditioner

Try Lexol conditioner. I have seen it remove scratches in both leather couches and auto seats.
