How do you remove the overhead console in a 06 F-150 ? I have a short one that is not on rails.

Grab it on the edges and pull it straight down. It has six clips that clip into an overhead bracket. When you pull make sure you dont yank it down as the cable for the overhead lights is not very long and you could rip it out.

i found it easier to grab from the front and pop the front clips down then grab the rear. It was just hell on my fingertips from the side.
