Need help ASAP 40/60 front bench w/stick?

Okay Just got an 02 Ford Crew 2 weeks ago, I have a chance to trade the stock 40/60 Lariet front bench for a Lariet front Captians and Console but the Captians console truck has floor Stick shift.

Will the 40/60 bench work with a floor stick shift?

Thanks

Dave

Your truck is auto, with the bench seat, right? And you will swap it for captains chairs with a floor console with a stick? Well, it would work for you, but the other truck needs the bench with the cut out in the middle of the bench for the stick.

DaveFL,
I'm not sure I follow your question. Are you wanting to put the captain's chairs from the '98 Lariat in your '02 SCrew? I got confused when you asked if the bench seat will work with a stick-shift. I thought the SCrew was the truck in question that you want to put captain's chairs in. Regardless, the 40/60 bench seat doesn't care if you have an auto or stick. There's no difference in the seats between the 2 trannies. I have a '98 Lariat with a stick (which is a pretty rare bird in itself), and it came with a 40/60 bench seat stock. I wanted captain's chairs and put a set in from a '99 Lariat, which I'm sure was an automatic truck (they stopped putting sticks in Lariats after the '98 model year). Everything matched up fine. There's not a stick bench seat and an auto bench. The only part of these trucks that cares about a stick in the floor is a full-length console, and I've actually seen somebody who managed to put a full console in a stick truck and make it work, but I'm sure it wasn't easy. Answer: either set of seats will work in either truck.

probably too late on the replies if the truck he was swapping with went to auction the next day.

I probably would have taken a ride to see it that day and look at the situation first hand to see if the trade would have worked
