Passenger Side Air Vent/Surround Removal

Passenger Side Air Vent/Surround Removal
I am wanting to paint the air vent/surround closest to the passenger door. Does anyone know a good way to remove this without pulling the entire dash? I have pulled the airbag out and cannot seem to lossen the air vent/surround. Any help would be appreciated.
