Power window switch

The driver side switch is bad/broken. What is the aprox. location of the clips for the door panel or what is the actual access to the switches? This is a 2001 F-150.All tricks and help apreciated.

The panel that holds the switches is separate fromt he door panel. You can just remove that part. Lift the front edge, it is clipeed tot he door panel. The rear edge has a tongue that fits under the arm rest. You shouldn't need any tools to pull up the switch plate.

www.fordpartsonline.com has the left door window switch for $70, lower cost than the dealer. Otherwise try a salvage yard. There are old 150's at everyone.
