Interior smell

Just wondering what some of you guys use on the interior to keep it smelling fresh? I have tried lots of things from Febreeze to the little stones you put under your seats and my interior still has a smell like a sweaty locker. I'm thinking it's my floor mats so I may pull them tomorrow and buy some el cheapos at Wally world until I can afford some weather techs.

You may have mold/mildew growing in your HVAC system. If so, go to the dealer and see if they have the proper stuff to disinfect the air plenum.

I've found that the occasional shower tends to help

Other than that, vacuuming it out and wiping down with armorall have kept mine new-truck-fresh

Thumbs up

I use Armor All cleaner on my vinyl seats and door panels.I follow up on them with Aerospace 303 protectant.I only use the 303 on the dash.To finish up I put a Snuggles fabric sheet under each seat. They stay fresh for about a week, which is when I clean the interior again.

Clean the interior and place a open bag of charcoal or 2 containers of baking soda ( I usally pour each of them in a bowl) and place it in the truck for a weekend. Keep all the windows up. Then spray your interior with your favorite scents or hang your air freshers.

I always leave my a/c switch in the vent position when I park my truck. The fresh air can circulate and get rid of the musty smell in the ducts.

See I always heard different and that you should leave your a/c switch in the off position when your truck is parked.

I keep mine on Vent too. My mom does that in her car also.
