I don't know if anyone else here has already been through and solved this problem. I have a 2000 F150 XLT pick-up. For a while now the front cup holder/ash tray has been broken. Its the one with the spring that you push it in to open it only know the spring has given up and it no longer opens. I'm not picky and probably wouldn't care but occasionally someone like my wife will get in the truck and close it and then it is a real pain to get it open again. Does anyone know if there is a kit available to repair this thing or am I left to go to the junk-yard and hope to get lucky. As luck would have it Ford also put a light inside of that thing. Makes it easy to find at night but I'm sure it will just make it more trouble when I try to fix it.
