Rattle in Headliner

I have a 04 S/cab Lariat with the power moon roof and when the moon roof is open I hear a rattle. It seems as if the overhead light in the back seat is rattling on something and I was contemplating how to fix this… Any one have the same problem and if so were you able to correct it, and how!!!

There is a metal piece on the back part of the moonroof that sometimes comes loose. With the moon roof closed or slanted open, stick your hand in and feel around if anything is loose besides the headliner piece. I had this problem on my '02 SuperCrew King Ranch. Your truck would be the newer style but I am guessing the moonroof is similar. I just pulled the piece out and never put it back in. The rattle went away and I have been driving it this way for the last year without any problems with the operation of the moonroof or any leak problems. I have hear of this problem on many of the '97-'03 style F-150's.

I thank you for the tip and did check it out but could not find any metal pieces loose up in there. I think it may be the retrackable piece of the headliner be buffeted by the wind against the read seat dome light... I am thinking about adding some foam in there in addition to what is already up there!
