My ashtray decided to stop staying closed. This happen to anyone?
I have a 2004 Lariat SC.
How do I remove to see how to fix?

Never mind. Found a link on removal.
But has anyone had theres break?

 

yeah, mine doesn't close all the way and if i push it all the way in it don't come out unless forced.

 

I took it apart and found a pin had broke. I glued it back and re inforced it a little. When I put back together I found it was binding a little like it did before. (which is what caused the break as I forced it a "little" to much). Added some white grease to the rails the pin follows and voila it fixed the binding very well.
You have take the assembly out of the dash but it now works great.

 

mine hasn't shut completely since just after i bought it in 04. it feels like a coin fell behind it, i'm just looking into it now.
