O.K i got some ink from a pen on my dash grrrr... Can anyone tell me what to do to get it off.. I dont want to just start trying anything and makeing the situation worse.. Any ideas or suggestion are greatly appreciated..ty

 

Ink is solvent based so you'll need to use a solvent to clean it off. Make sure you spot test any chemicals you use before going to town to make sure they aren't going to screw the dash up. Do this in an inconspicuous area too!

Start with some rubbing alcohol and a white cotton towel. Blot it up rather than wiping as it will likely smear the ink all over the place. If you have a hard time getting it all due to the texture try agitating with a soft bristled brush.

If rubbing alcohol doesn't work then try some goo gone or goof off. These are stronger solvents so make SURE you test well first! Strong solvents have a tendency to dull and sometimes melt plastic so make sure you find out what it's going to do to the dash.

 

ink on the dash is better than some dents from high heels......

Beleive it or not Cheap hair spray works pretty good also. Yeah and you should try having to exlain foot prints on the head liner to.

 

That's debatable. At least there is an upside to have heel dents on your dash

Yup, Aqua Net! That stuff will completely remove inkstains.
