Need advice on leather seat color selection.

I’m a brand new member today, first post, and looking forward to being a brand new F150 SuperCrew owner in the next week or two at the most... can't wait. Need advice on interior leather color. I live in Georgia right now... hot summers! Leaning towards light color exterior or even white (saw the white truck posts!! Nice!) but may end up with copper or stone. Price motiviated. I am looking for opinions on durability and comfort of black leather in the south. Should I avoid and go with tan or gray? I want it to last a long time. I appreciate the help and looking forward to a long love affair with my truck and active participation here.

I would go with the tan just based on looks alone. I would imagine that the black leather would get pretty hot talso. I have tan and I have never noticed that it was ever unusually hot.

Talking

Thank you for the thoughts... I came to the same conclusion... Took delivery today and tan it is... Oh my, what a sweet ride! My brother-in-law's response was "What do you need THAT for?" He just doesn't get it. I'm in the club and hope I make all you long time truck owners proud. I may not have a lot of money right now for mods but they will come eventually... but then that's a topic for another tread.

black black black..if its hot turn on the a/c...you may think not now...but in a few years look at your carpet and you will wish you got black. the seams of the stiching will also be leather color, and they will pick up oils/dirt/and any thing else that your kids or girlfriend/wife thinks that they need to bring with them. the black leather gives you black carpet/pannels...ect ect ect you can have them cleaned professionally but they will never look as clean as black carpet and seats will in a few years. trust me black is the way to go...i am in houston and you in ga...its hot no matter what color your interior is

Congrats! That's a sweet looking truck! And as for your brother in law, I say, "What DON'T you need that for?!" Trucks are the most useful vehicles on the planet!! As long as you don't count tanks LOL.

Man if you're dead set on leather, go for it but leather is hard to take care of. It looks great and smells good but my choice in my new '07 XLT Screw was fabric.
