I recently bought a Garmin C330 gps unit and would like to mount it on the dash, however the sticky pad under the mounting plate does not stick to the dash material.
I'm not real keen on screwing it onto the dash.........any advice? The unit comes with a suction cup for the windshield, but it's a bit of a stretch to use the touchscreen. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

 

Get the device from Garmin that sits on your dash. I have the same unit and the dash piece is great. Is heavywieght and will not move around - it will sit right in the dash tray.

 

They are about $40 direct from Garmin, but you can find them cheaper online and maybe through eBay.
