hey guys, there was a thread about maybe a month ago where a guy ordered a center console liek this and switched it for it center fold down seat.. i am reallly considering this mod, generally because i think it looks 10 times better, and also bc i never use the middle seat.

my questions are, my truck interior is cloth grey, wiht black dash etc. and the arm or top of the storage compartment is white.. is there any where i can get a black or grey one? or do i just have to keep looking on ebay..

and then also, for the install.. im just guessing that you unbolt the current seat now, and then unpluh the 12v outlet, and then reatatch to the new one, and bolt on...

if anybody has done this or has the mod thread bookmard or any ideas on the arm rest cover.. please let me know, this listing ends tomarrow on the 2nd at noon i believe.. (only 15 hours from now)

This is the thread https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...hlight=console I just recently did the console swap and am glad that I did. It's a simple swap as described in that thread. 4 bolts out, unplug the 12v and seats out, plug in 12v to console replace the bolts and ur done.
I purchased my console from the same guy as you linked to (usually has a new one every week) and it looked flawless. There was only 1 slight indincation on the top arm rest, nothing that you could notice without looking for it.
Also his armrest are the light grey not white.

 

hey, thanks for the info... BIG help.. i think thats the same exact color that im lookin at.. and u also havgfe the same interior.. except i have the rubber floors..

but i just placed a bid on it for 165 plus shipping (25) and it ends in 3 hrs from now..
