Hey-my Dad has an F-250 Lariat (SD, 4x4...), and the armrest on the driver's seat has cracked leather from use, etc. How do you replace them, and (aside from the junkyard or stealership), where's a good place to get them?

I think the junkyard or stealership are the best options. As I tell everyone, try Ebay. Or if you have an upholstery shop near you, they may be able to recover it.

 

What year is it? Are they captain chairs with the fold up armrest? Or is it the 40/20/20 set-up. My company makes the seats? I may be able to get you a trim cover if it is the captain chairs. If it is the 20 percent then it will require a new 20% lid. Also cloth vs. leather and color?

 

2001. Captains chairs with fold up armrests. Top-Coated leather (typical tan Lariat leather). If you can get a trim cover, please email me if they won't let you post it (if you plan on selling it). PM also works, I just don't check it all the time.

I may have difficult finding a 2001 since warrenty is over for these vehicles. What I could do is get two newer style tan leather armrest covers so they match. The color should be the same and I know the size is the same.

 

Hey-- sorry for the long wait. I never found my camera cable, so yesterday I went and looked at a new lariat seat. The color is a match as far as I can tell. If not, I'll just live with it.
