XLT to FX4 gauge swap

Will the guage pod from a FX4 swap into a XLT? I read somewhere on another forum that the milage will not be affected. Is this true? Also, is it a true plug and play procedure?

i think that you have to have the miles corrected at a dealer or someone that has the software to do it, ask on the 2004-2007 f-150 section and someone will be able to help you more
