Interior B pilar Repair/Prevent

Well im going to school to be an automech and im always lugging my tools around in my back seat floor board. Well i noticed the B Pilar was taking alot of abuse from the box, so ive been repair it to some extent, and i am making a panel to cover the corner, and then also cover the back of the seat.

Sanded pilar some


Used cardboard to make a template, then cut it out, and glued foam on the back side of steel

Did a test fitment after bending it.


Then test fit with the back panel


And since those pictures, ive modified the left edge of the back panel to allow for it to mount to the side cover. It will keep everything much more solid, and in place. also on the bottom edge of the back panel, there is a tab that folds under the floormat.
Now the second round gluing is setting, and hopefully will be ready before dark.
