Seat Covers- Are the covers connected with Hog Rings

Ordered leather for the truck. Does the F150 use to hog ring connectors? Has anyone seen an article around the forums on how to remove the OEM Seat covers?

Thanks

Yes, there are hog rings. When I did this swap, I followed the advice of others and used zip-ties in place of hog rings when I put the leather covers on. It was much easier, and they're not going anywhere.

If you search you should find several threads with details on how to remove the old seat covers. I think ChrisAdams and some others have posted good how-to's that'll get you through it.

thank you for the reply. I did a search last night and for some reason I cannot find the instructions that Chrisadams posted.

If you can't find that specific post, you should at least be able to find one from someone else outlining the process. It's been a while since I did mine or I'd try to tell you how I did it. Unfortunately, my brain cleanses itself of extra information with a twelve-pack every weekend.

did the swap. all went well except for the rear bench seat bottom. A little loose, so extra foam should do the trick. Thanks for the help.

Awesome, glad you got it done. Once the leather is heated and cooled in the sun a few times it'll start to fit a little better. And post some pics if you get a chance!
