I'm sure I'm not the only one that has had this problem. The center console door was squeaking so much that anyone who got in the truck would notice it. I have a 2003 supercab with about 60,000 miles on it. The problem is with the door backing and has nothing to do with the console itself. I removed the door from the hinge and took the back plastic off (about 10 screws). I then sanded down the rough edges and put some lithium grease all the way around it. Problem fixed! I can once again rest my arm on the door while driving!

ahh thats cool, what console? Captain seats console or the built in seat console.

 

This is for the big console that comes with the captains chairs. Mine was really bad! Just touching it would make it squeak!

 

ahh ok, My 250 with the bench fold down console makes a light squeak when I open it, I could probably just oil the hinge a little.
