Help! Squeak, dash dis-assembly

I have the worlds most irratating squeak coming from my passenger side dash area. Imagine fingernails on a chalk board, but in very short duration bursts - sometimes 3 or 4 times a second. It seems to be coming from inside the dash, behind the airbag.

There is a long oval trim piece on the top of the dash which I think just has the little snap-locks for removal. Does the airbag cover come off the same way? Is there anything I need to know before tearing into that space? Any ideas?

This is an '03 SuperCrew King Ranch.

Thanks!

Make sure to disconnect the battery so you don't set off the airbag by accident. That's about all I can recommend.

As I recall (though I've never disassembled mine to that point) that you actually have to take the dash partially apart to "safely" take that cover piece off.
