Friend of mine today told me he'd heard some people were taking the console out of Explorers (maybe Expeditions?) and putting them into F-150s? I have a 2001 F-150 SCrew and love it but wish the console was more roomy. I mean I can barely squeeze five handguns in there. Anyone have some tips/pictures on putting in the explorer/expedition console into an F-150? Thanks!

 

idk about Explorer, but yeah Expedition consoles fit in F150s, I would like to put one in mine.

I have done it on both my 1999 SC and my 2003 SCREW, cost me plenty at the time but it was worth it. Make sure you buy the proper console for the year of truck you have, they changed after 2000 or 2001 to a wider console.My first one I bought was for my 99 and was Grey so I had it painted blue to match my interior at a Ford dealership body shop, for the second one I was able to buy the tan colour to match my interior.
Check EBay and search for console, good luck.
