Stainless Steel Shifter

I would love to find a machined stainless steel shifter for my 2005 F150 SuperCrew (automatic transmission). I hate the factory plastic one. Any thoughts where I might find one?

No one on this website is aware of anything of the sort... a while ago there was a guy who started engineering one, but ran into liability problems with Ford so he abandoned the project... if you or anyone else knows of where to get one please let us know.

Are you talking about the floor shifter or the column shifter?

If your talking about the floor mounted shifter I thought the OEM chrome ones were steel.. but if steering column shifters, idk never seen anything about an aftermarket column shifter, but you might be able to chrome paint it

Yes I'd be interested in this too. It feels really plastic'y' - a metal one would be better.
