steering wheel defect

Just wondering if anyone has had problems with the rubber on the steering wheel becoming loose .I can grip the top of the steering wheel and rotate it forward and backward. It seams that the glue holding rubber to the wheel has let go.The dealership say they have not had this problem ,truck is just off warranty 13 months /60000kms

Mine did the same but after 4 years. I installed one of those leather wheel wraps. Or you can get a new steering wheel on Ebay. They are pretty cheap for vinyl ones, leather is around U$100.

Mine does the same thing, but not real bad. It is only at the top where I grip it most of the time. Unless it gets worse, I will leave it alone.

Happened on my uncle's Exploder, but that's cause he grips the steering wheel and twists his hand like it's a motorcycle throttle. He says he doesn't know how it happened

Just get a friend with an f150 with same interior as you, swap steering wheels, and him go in if hes still under warranty. They'll hook him up, and let him keep the new one for his troubles
