Raising driver seat

I am looking for any suggestions, wornings, etc re raising the driver side seat on my 2005 xl. It looks like all I have to do is: a]from inside the cab remove 4 Torx bolts, b]insert spacers, and c]reinsert bolts.

I would like to lift the seat about 2 inches [I am not a big guy]. This means I will need longer bolts than the stock now holding the seat. Anyone know the thread count etc of these bolts?

What should I use to remove Torx bolts? Looks like I need a right angle Torx wrench. Do they make such things?

Anyone know of kits with bolts and spacers?

Thanks

Make sure you use some high quality hardware. Might not be too safe if you get in a wreck and the I'm sure the insurance company will frown at this idea.

I have a set of torx tips that fit onto the end of a ratchet driver, so they have a square hole on the back side. works well. One of mine i needed a small extension b.c the floor was raised around the head of the bolt.

Also dont forget to reconnect your female seatbelt bracket, since it is likely integrated into the back corner of the seat mount hole.

I would try going up 1" first. 2" sounds like a whole lot. Plus 2" may look really funny since the other two seats arent leveled out in that row of seats.
You could try a dry run with some big washers, to get an idea of how high 2" really turns into.
