Door panel cleaning question

I just wanted to see what people are doing about cleaning their door panels, 2 areas of concern. First, the top along the window cat whisker, it seems to get oils and dirt from my arm and is a pain to remove. What is a good product to use or technique to clean these pieces? Second, my doors arm rest seems to have discolored (the softer padded part where the handle is built in and behind), again what to do? The truck is a 2000 f-150 with dark graphite interior.

For cleaning purposes I use Meguire's Vinyl & Rubber cleaner and conditioner. It comes in a red squirt bottle about 4.99.

As for cleaning the oil and grime, take this with a grain of salt as it works for most but not all, the mr. clean magic eraser worked perfectly on mine. Wet it down and gently rub the area that needs cleaning. Watch for color change as a few people have said it faded various plastic pieces such as the oe plastic bed caps and such.

Try it out, mine are five years old and look no more than a few months old. As to the little waffled area at the base, toothbrush and hot water or an 70/30 mix of Water to simple green once again with a toothbrush and a terry cloth towel.

I say this with four years of doing said applications and take great care of my interior as it's where I spend MY time in the vehicle. The cleaner the better.

Don't use armor all or any tire shine as it looks appealing for a day or two but is greasy and a bear to clean the next time. Not to mention you will notice it seems to allow more oil to grip.

Have fun

I have same interior as you, ive used the Armor All cleaning wipes, i stay away from the dash protectants and shiners from AA, but the cleaning wipes have been good to me, its either the yellow or purple bottle, i cant remember.

Then ill take a cloth and wipe them down to get rid of the "greasy" feel. Especially on the steering wheel.
