repair tear/split in leather
Any advice on repairing a hole that turned into a tear in a 01 Lariat supercrew
seat? A wire caused the hole & I put some superglue on it. It caused it to tear. I really don't want to replace the piece of leather if I can find a way to repair it sucessfully.

Run it by an automotive upholstry shop to see what they can do for you. My hunch is that they'll recommend replacing the panel of the seat (not the entire bottom or back) that is ripped.
Secondly, check ebay. You'll see a seatback or bottom float across there quite frequently. Plus, they usually don't cost all that much... it is something that you could replace yourself if you were to find the right one.
