Door lock problem on 96 F150
I'd been having a weird problem for a while. My locks worked fine-power or manualy with a key half the time. The other half I'd go to unlock the driver's door with the remote and the button wouldn't pop up. I'd then try the key, I couldn't turn it, it felt like it was jammed and I couldn't get the door to unlock.
Had to get in the other side and pull the door handle to get the door open. The next time I'd lock the door it would work fine, then sometime later same thing would happen again.
I took the door panel off to try lubing everything from the inside and this is what I found.

What's that white plastic piece? One side of it looks like it is supposed to snap onto something but I can't tell what. Does anyone have a pic or a diagram or something that might tell me? I'm guessing it's supposed to guide the rod it's attached to or something.
