well, you could get the wire harness from ford 1L3z-14A005-AA
which looks like this outta the box

OR you could buy the actuators, window regulators, a bunch of relays and lots of wire and make ur own wire harness's thats what i did and it was a pain in the *** but its sure nice having power windows and doorlocks... I have them wired up to the factory ford xlt switches and all that stuff so it looks factory and works pretty nicely....

id rather use the harness above but it goes behind the dash like this this is a photo from an nloc member that removed his dash to work on weight reduction.. but the wire harness u can see it up there near the firewall... using that harness is all plug and play once hooked up into the kick panels existing open harness's all u'd have to do is run those into the doors and plug them into ur window regulators/actuators/mirrors

no you will have to buy actuators which you can get anywhere from 5$ to 20$ and sometimes higher.. mine were about 5.99 each.. and then get the window regulators from an xlt (theres also kits for this kind of thing) and if you decide to buy the wire harness you should be able to hook ur regulators and actuators to ur harness without any trouble...

the part number that i posted for the power windows is for the 2000-03 (has turn signal mirror connection) it may fit 97-99 but im not sure, i dont really see why it wouldnt.. but its definitly not for the new body style but im sure if you go to the ford dealer and tell them what your lookin for they could sell the harness to you... it may be easier to explain if you reference to the part number i posted

Please check this thread out. There's some really good info here. I have a '05 XL with keyless entry and power windows with express up/down. Got everything for around $200. Installed everything myself (wasn't hard at all).

No, I put the window switches on either side of the cigar lighter. Works pretty good especially with the express up/down.
